I have a 2013 LT1 with the RS package, 1.4, manual. I was driving a 1998 Buick lesabre with 225000 miles. My last new car was bought in 1993 and was a Dodeg Dakota so I must say driving a new car after all these years is simply a joy. I commute about 150 to 200 miles a day for work and drive about 70% highway. My commute takes me from Pennsylvania to central and northern New jersey with rolling hills. To date Iam averaging between 39 and 41 MPG consistently on each trip. I use 87 octane, drive between 65 and 68 mph on cruise whenever I can. I have not checked spark plug gap to date. Tire pressure is 37 on each tire. After the shock of driving a new car i can post some observations about the Chevy Cruze. Gas Mileage. Exceeding expectations as it getting more MPG than listed. Ride quality. Smooth and tight. Power. I got the cruze to save on gas not test my 0 to 60 times. Has plently of umph to get me around tractor trailers and slow cars on the highway. Comfort. I still say my Buick lesabre is the most comfortable car I have ever driven in, but that being said, the cruze is great, seating positions are good, telescoping steering wheel is a very nice feature. Heat works great and is quick to heat up in the cold. The stock radio is fine for me, Im 46 and blasted my ears in my younger years so i dont need my car to thump anymore. My doors are all line up with no variations. I do hear a slight wind noize when going faster than 50mph, but to me that is nit picking. Warmer weather should be coming soon so I will update later about the A/C. So far this car has greatly exceeded my expectations in every way. Again I will update later on things like reparis, maintenence and issues. I am a DIY guy so i have found this site to be very helpful! Enjoy
