Hi, everyone:

Due to poor reliability, I have had to trade in my 2011 Cruze Eco 6MT.

I'd like to thank everyone here on CruzeTalk who have helped me with the technical issues of the Cruze over the years. I really appreciate your assistance!

Of all the cars I've ever owned, I have enjoyed driving the Cruze the most, by far.

The tale of woe:

34987 miles: Exterior trunk release button replaced. This failed again later; I didn't get it fixed.
61375 miles: Water pump replaced
82950 miles: Turbocharger oil cooler replaced
89542 miles: Parking brake cable replaced
102156 miles: Coolant temperature sensor and front main seal replaced
102785 miles: Valve cover gasket replaced
102800 miles: Coil pack replaced
108847 miles: Manual transmission replaced
113873 miles: Valve cover replaced
114239 miles: Parking brake cable replaced again
118500 miles: Front main seal fails again. Corroded fuel line ruptures, causing small fuel leak.
118600 miles: Fuel line ruptures again after repair, causing dangerous fuel leak. Traded in.

The car spent over 30 nights parked at the dealership awaiting repair, instead of in my driveway where it belonged.

I have nothing but high praise for the Chevy dealers who repeatedly went above and beyond in their service support of my Cruze. The level of caring and commitment to my satisfaction was truly outstanding and would have been appropriate for a much more expensive car.
