Hello, a few months ago my car started getting a warning, AC off due to high engine temp, immediately after turning it on, and the fan runs constantly. I was told that it could be a tempature sensor. I also notices when this happens the temp gage doesn't move. I was told the fan is a failsafe in case the temp is high and the sensor is broken the fan helps keep the engine from actually overheating. I bought one of those FIXD code readers for my car and I have a code for Engine Coolant Temp Below Thermostate Regulating Temp. I don't have a lot of money, so I've been clearing the code and it then runs fine for a few weeks or sometimes a few days then it happens again. Can anyone tell me how hard it would be for me to fix this issue and can I cause serious damage to my car by clearing the code and driving it. Thanks in advance..
