acetone in gas tank=better mpg?

i was watching a vid on youtube and the guy said by adding pure acetone to your fuel will give you greater fuel milege he did this whole thing of he was at 17mpg then he did some stuff and he reached 34mpg by adding acetone,
will the acetone hurt in the long run,will my motor still go on to live past 100k
ive used acetone for paint prep but this is new to me anyone got any idea what it does

I ve read about this for 20 years and I have tried it with zero results... A little shouldn t hurt anything because it s so diluted. I didn t harm my truck I tried it on.

how many miles did you have on your truck,im assuming the acetone eats up the gunk inside or cleans the injectors
There is a chance you can improve MPG, however, I wouldn't do it until your warrenty expired.

...acetone "dissolves" lots of things (don't ask me *how* I know this); it's the primary component in paint-thinner and fingernail polish-remover.

Are the people running acetone running it on vehicles that are E85 compatible???? Also I wouldn't do it.
Heck no, if it could they would put it in your fuel already.
I take a swig of acetone every morning for good get-up-and-go.
