Adding Cruise Control and Fog Lights

I have a '14 LS 1.8L Manual and would like to add cruise control and fog lights to her. I browsed the forums a lil bit and messaged the customer care people on here to no avail. All I'm looking for is a quick rundown on what all needs to be done in order to make these additions happen. Is it as simple as changing out the steering wheel, adding the fog light assembly on each side and the fog light switch then having a dealership handle the programming side or am I missing a step?

Welcome Aboard!:welcome:

You should introduce yourself here

What year Cruze? Are you will to do extra work to get this done? There are threads for both of those items. The search bar is on your right.

If I have time I will post direct links, but for now - search Cruise Control, fog light install etc.

EDIT
Probably the best two fog light threads:
Eco Cruze Fog Light Install--Warning: Lots of pics!!
How-To: Install Fog Lights WITHOUT Removing Front Bumper
EDIT II
Rostra info here - Aftermarket Cruise Control installed at dealer
Aftermarket link here - Adding Cruise Control

Brandloyaltyissilly...........

For cruzen control order a steering wheel off of GMParts . Install .
Have a dealer update the BCM .. yep yer spending ......fog lights is the same sequence ...
So the dealer has to update the bcm for the fog lights as well?
Yep .
Made an appt to have the Dealer program Cruise onto my BCM this weekend. Steering wheel was from a '13 LT. Easy install. Would have taken 5min if I had the right T50 bit. Use a breaker bar, turn slow and have a buddy hold the wheel.

I have OEM fogs to install as well. Plan on having the dealer program this at the same time. If not, they're gonna get hard wired.

Anyone know the PNs for the fog harness and switch? I just have the bezel and light assemblies.

Just a note: if you insert the key into the ignition with the battery disconnected, it's not coming back out until you hook the battery back up.

EDIT:
found the PNs if anyone needs them:
96950676 - fog lamp harness
22901646 - interior switch with fog lamp switch.

Fogs should work for that year. The fogs not working is only a 2013 model year Cruze built between 2012 and 23 march of 2013.

Cruise control varies with 2011 being the easiest year to do it. Verify the dealer will accept the parts you buy elsewhere. Some want you to only buy the parts from their parts department at the normal dealer markup prices in order for them to install it.
Dealer and GM won't authorize CC reflash. So, after all these years, I'm off to sell.

GM wants the customer to buy the "kit" which comes with the secret code. I'm not springing for that when all that is needed is a reflash.

I'll probably send an email to GM customer service and be done with them. I honestly don't know how others have been able they get the mod done.
Just PM @Chevy Customer Care to see if they can help

I have done both of these upgrades to my car which is the exact same as yours. PM me if you like and i will give you the details that I went through to have these operational. The cruise control needs a dealer to program the BCM but the fog lights needs no reprogramming.
Just installed fogs today. Bought the switch new for $22 and the OEM fogs and bezels were free from a buddy who upgraded to LEDs. I didn't want to throw $90 for wires, so I bought an 16AWG H8 harness from Amazon for $12. It came with its own 30A fuse and relay. Used the output at the Fog Light fuse to run the relay. This setup works great and also allows more power to be run to the lights. Virtually no load on the OEM fog circuit since all the fog power is separate.
My Cruze had cruise control in it when I bought the car, but I did install the fog lights afterwards. With having a 14 as well I can say that the dogs worked perfectly with the need for programming. There was a post with a tip to pull the gray clip to install the power wire for the fogs in the fuse box that really helped me to get the wire to stay installed.
