so now has come the time to start to either buy parts to do my retrofit on aftermarket headlight assemblys or buy a set already done

On the aftermarket headlights is there a difference on brands im looking at two

Eagle Eyes GM584 B111R Passenger Side Replacement Headlight for Chevrolet Cruze | eBay
TYC 20 9179 90 9 Passenger Side Capa Certified Replacement Headlight | eBay

and im looking at this kit

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/c...orimoto-mini-stage-3-kit-h1.html#.VsYS8_krIdU

the good part is that they just released the 7.0 version which has a longer shaft so not you dont have to shave your housing down to be able to get the nut on

so ill get better light output from doing it myself but the ones done "look" nicer on the car

so shoot me some pros and cons im looking at starting to buy parts next week

So an even easier install, then?
Yup from what I see
There are no cons. Nothing performs better than a high quality HID projector retro kit.

Go with the TYC headlights over Eagle Eyes as they are of slightly higher quality.

Or purchase another set of OE lamps and use the hot knife technique to cut the rear housing out. That way you can gain access to the reflector housing.
