hi,
I picked up a aftermarket touchscreen Adayo radio, however it appears that I have no way to connect the LCD. I have a 2012 base model without steering wheel audio controls. The seller said that there would be two connectors present that were not attached to anything that would connect the white connections on the Radio and LCD. I did not see these. I did not open up the main harness box located further back in the radio bay. Would these connectors possibly in there? Or is there something I am missing all together Machine Technology Electronic device Electronics

Cheers

Doesn't the LCD screen plug in directly to the car?

I'm confused on what you are asking. You say you are missing cables but have not opened the box completely?

This is why you don't buy ebay radios.
No you didn't read his post thoroughly. He bought a radio that is supposed to be plug and play in the cruze. He was told by the seller that the plugs are already in his harness he just has to find them somewhere.

As to if they are actually in the harness somewhere I cannot answer. I have base and am staying base radio. Sadistik, where yours not there?

A lot of times the unused harnesses are usually attached to the used harness bind up in the opposite direction of the harness its attached to by oe electrical tape. Most of the time you don't have to dig too deep. But I do agree this is why you do not buy ebay poo no offense I'm just calling crow a bird.

What would buying any where else have changed about having to dig to find the plugs?

My mistake, I quickly skimmed it.

As Hifi said, they would simply be taped up in the opposite direction then.

If you take a picture of what you have apart in your car already and we may be able to point out the connections that you need.

Hi, Thanks for the info, I will look deeper into the radio bay this weekend. I will also take some photos if I can not find them. The seller on ebay (who upgraded to a different radio) has the exact same model (2012 LS) as I do, therefore the connections should be there. As I mentioned I saw a offwhite plastic enclosure with 3 snap latches farther back in the bay that appeared to have a good number of wires in it. Hopefully this is where the other connectors are. Getting into this appeared to be quite a chore so I aborted the install and replaced the base radio and decided to contact you folks. Anyway,The seller has been very helpful, Providing very detailed install instructions over many messages, and asking me to confirm how the install went.and even had a GPS Antenna sent directly to me from another manufacturer. Living on Guam is great however, when it comes to getting companies to ship here is a pain so eBay comes in handy when you can deal with someone directly.

Hi, The connector question has been answered, I was on a wild goose chase. The connector (LCD to Radio ) the seller "though" was part of the GM wiring was still in his car. LOL. After checking out several similar units available on the web and the supplied connection kit, I convinced him that the connector in his Cruze came with the Radio. Anyway He will get it and send it to me and everything should be good to go.
