I have a 2014 and about a month ago I noticed this rumbling/revving noise occurring whenever I turn the air conditioning button on. It instantly stops when you turn it off.

I’ve been researching but I can’t seem to find the issue mainly due to me not being familiar with ACs.

There’s no noise when the AC is off.
There’s no grinding noise.
There’s no squeaking/squealing.
There’s no luke warm/hot air coming out from vents (cold could be colder, but still fine nonetheless.)

Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me get steered in the right direction.

Does the noise vary with engine speed?

Does it vary with AC fan speed setting?

Does selecting a different vent have any effect?
