I'm 20 as well. I think its funny that our cars are twins and we are the same age haha. Must be something around 95/96 that makes bright red Cruze's appealing.

I'm 41

So in 1993 I purchased (with help) a 1986 Monte Carlo SS. The 0-60 and quarter mile stats are about the same as my current 2016 LT RS. The ride is about as smooth with the Cruze doing a better job around corners. I don't miss the 18mpg either.
I'm 21... Cruze is the perfect car especially for a student/just starting off in the world of work :moon:. Not to expensive, cheap and good on fuel but yet still really fun to drive with plenty of amenities.
22, just finished university/college. Definitely agree, I was looking for something relatively inexpensive and good on fuel. fact is, though it has something like 144K kilometres on it, the '12 LT was still 3K+ cheaper than comparable Hondas that I was looking at (the Cruze is replacing a 2002 Accord, which I'll admit was a good car). even spending another 1500 or so, the lots I was looking at could only come up with 9 year old civic manuals, with basic packages on them. The cruze just so happened to have decent amenities and be 3 to 5 years newer than anything else I looked at.

Ain't that the truth!!
Chronologically or mentally? Still like playing with my "toy" trains, HO, O, and G scale. Still climb up my 40' ladded to prune my trees, be darn if I am going to pay anybody 1000 bucks to do one tree. Still do a lot of remodeling, all of my own maintenance, can do anything on a car except hack firmware, no problem in torquing 350 ft-lbs, had a whole box of special purpose tools that I can't even remember what they were for, but new I needed them at the time.

Recall paying four bucks per semester hour, and getting loaded up with a bunch of brand new books for under ten bucks. I could actually afford to buy a brand new car when I was 18 year old earning minimum wage, but that didn't last very long, soon got my draft notice.

For my age, was born February 4th, so figure that your for yourself. LOL. Can also remember when this country was great.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the **** happened.

One thing for sure, (They?) do not ask us, least not me, when you want to be dumped on the planet, not even a choice of planets, just get dumped here.

Sure don't ask us what sex we want to be, have four choices, male, female, half in in between, or none.

Sure don't ask us what race we want to be either, many choices for this, and wonder why there are so many choices, maybe its because (They?) want to see us fight each other.

No choice of what kind of body we get stuck with or the genetics, some new bornes don't even make it to the first year, others are murdered before they are born. Can be short, tall, skinny, fat, good looking, or ugly. smart, average, or stupid. Sure not our choice again.

And then what kind of family you are stuck with, many brainwash us from the day we are born with some stupid religion or culture. We sure weren't born to think for ourselves.

Many doctors get a kick when I tell them (They?) dumped me on the wrong planet, my body does not agree with your earthly medicines.

I keep forgetting I'm not 28 anymore. Add a year to that.

Ugh.

Anyway, it's been a great little car to me for this point in my life...no kids, but serves as a good, fuel-efficient car to go places on the weekend/run errands in that I can spend almost no time fixing.

As long as you don't need the backseat on a regular basis, the Cruze is a good car for everyone. The lower trim models for the ones just starting out, and the higher trim models for those who want and can afford a little luxury.

Ditto!!!
23 years old, drove a couple **** boxes (all GM's) that were handed down but never owned one, last one was a 98 Chevy blazer, got sick of bad gas mileage and maintenance.

Went to the dealer the week the sticker was expiring, looking for a sonic. Caitlyn was in the showroom, three days of negotiating I talked them $5k down and scooped my 2011 Cruze ltz for just over $16k and she runs so **** well!!

Been the best, most reliable car I've owned yet, original battery, tires, break pads and water pump, just had to replace the spark plugs, coolant reservoir tanks, and o ring and some minor rust repair!

My son who is 6' 5" fits just fine in the back seat of my 2016 Cruze.
Just turned 24, can't believe in a few weeks it will be 4 years 65k miles later with my Cruze. Don't drive it at all now that I gave it to my fiancé lol. Instead I drive a tonka truck now.
My wife and I are both 26.
