Hey all! Newbie here. Just picked up a 17 RS with premier package for the wife. Love the car but needs more bass! Anyone added an amp an sub yet? Is there a plug n play adapter out there that will work for this. Would really rather not splice the harness for a LOC.....any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Congrats on your new 17 RS with premier package. Adding an amp and sub is a popular upgrade for car audio enthusiasts, and there are a few options available for the Chevy Cruze.
One popular option is to use a plug-and-play wiring harness adapter, which allows you to connect an aftermarket amp and sub to the factory stereo without having to splice any wires. These adapters are typically designed specifically for your make and model of car, so you'll want to make sure you find one that is compatible with your 17 RS.
Another option is to use a line output converter (LOC) to connect the amp and sub to the factory stereo. This does involve splicing the factory wiring, but it can be a more affordable option if you're on a budget.
I recommend doing some research and finding a reputable car audio shop in your area to help you with the installation, as it can be a bit tricky if you're not experienced with car audio wiring. Good luck with your upgrade, and enjoy the improved bass!
