So I have a 2015 Chevy Cruze that I finally got back after an accident. It was fine for a few days but now all of a sudden there was an Anti Theft message that popped up so quick and then disappeared. Problem is, I can get the car jump started but then when I turn it off it won’t start again. The first time it happened the key got stuck in the ignition and we had to jump it to get it out. Now the key won’t get stuck but it won’t turn on by itself. Now that I’ve seen it at night I notice the blue light for the anti theft is no longer blue and no longer blinks. It’s solid red. I’m assuming that is what is causing my issue? The only think is, is I don’t know why it’s doing this. Does anyone have any pointers on how to reset this? I’ve never had this problem before! Thanks!
I should add that the lights on the inside of my car will still turn on, I can still click my button and my car will lock, and when I turn the key the information center will display just the mileage and that’s it’s in Park. Also the first time this happened, after we jumped it, it reset the time and date on my radio as well and the compass was stuck in “CALB” for a couple minutes. Not sure if this says anything but thought it might help. 🤷🏼♀️
