Since the Eco Cruze model weighs about 200 lbs. less than the non-Eco versions has anyone done anything to lighten their cars?

So far I've gone from the steel wheels to alloy rims on my Cruse and removed the spare tire. I also run with less gas in the tank never filling more that 3/4 full. I use Mobil 1 synthetic 0W-30 oil in the crankcase for less friction.

Of course I could stand to lose a few pounds myself... Oh alright, I could stand to lose several pounds. :)

That is so funny.

For that reason I just do not get in the car. Wow think of the weight and fuel savings there.

I was thinking more in the line of performance. You know 0-60 in under ten minutes--that sort of thing. Seriously if you can't increase the size of the engine the only alternative is to lighten the load.
