Got one saying its so much better than those cheap Chinese ELM327's that I already have. With this cheapy can do everything except get accurate turbo boost readings. Even disconnected the temp sensor plug, got a check engine light, Torque told me my temp sensor was open circuited, knew that. I reconnected it, check engine light did go out, but the code was still in storage. Cleared that with Torque, ran it again, no codes.
With the Vgate, can pair, but cannot connect, neither with Bluetooth nor the ECU as they call it. Went back and forth with the seller asking me all kinds of questions and trying things I already tried several times. Some guy on the Torque site says works well with a Cruze. Without that connection, can't even tell what version I have.
So debating whether to get a refund or a replacement unit. Would really be helpful to know if this Vgate does work. Thanks in advance.
