Seems the Chevy greed has decided to remove the send to navigation feature from the app. Now you need to pay 12 a month for this feature. It won't be long before you have to pay to use the unlock feature! This bums me out, while I used the feature once or twice a month it was very handy! Any comments on this?

I was using the charge features for my Volt and after six months that ended. I can still do this via the web-site for free (at least for five years) so I uninstalled the app from my phone. Someone at OnStar has their heads stuck where the sun doesn't shine.

All the more reason to disable updates on your phone?
Or is it the car that updates to the neutered version?

OnStar disables the app features without updating the app.

On my 2011 cruze, it only came with their Sirius service.
Kind of like a call center/sirius radio and GPS in one package.
Don't like to pay Sirius, and you'll lose their remote disable and tracking service, as well as emergency calling feat and GPS service as well.
