Plan on using xmas money on a tune, but all the threads with the issues with trifecta new tune I'm kinda worried about plopping my money down on it. I wasn't sure if all bugs worked out or if would have to wait on tune then if issues wait on tune. Also is it on handheld now or still need to buy a cord? Would my money be better spent on Vermont tune or anyone from Cobalt world the famous Area 51 HPTuner is local to me here in Kansas City. Just wanted opinions on what others would do

I was leaning towards VTune because by the time get a cord not much difference, and with people getting messed up tunes i could never buy the cheaper version with no support or retunes. It would of took a huge discount new years sale for me to go Trifecta since all issues don't seem to be ironed out. 1 good thing about this site people can state opinions about vendors unlike cobaltss.net and srtforums they ban people even if tell the truth about a bad vendor experience. Any HPTuned guys have any feedback? I need to add some fun factor to the Cruze too keep from buying another new car, after having cobalt ss, srt-4, G35, TBSS, ITR just to name a few I'm not used to something so slow! Also i have 6 speed manual should i start a new clutch fund too?

Point blank if y'all had do it again would order Trifecta again not much cheaper than Vermont tuning with cord eveb though i think i know someone can borrow one from. Still considering HPTuner because is cheapest option which isn't always good but it's someone i trust.

Do you know Brian aka Tsi aka Area51 from KCSR he had the fastest Cobalt SS/SC with tvr blower on it? He has tuned 100s of cars in KC and surrounding area. He is very knowledgeable with HOTuners

Sign up on KCSR.org its the Kansas City street racing siteyou'll find a tuner, it's more active then this site beieve it or not and there's tons of sections General, sports, guns, finance, pics and vids, huge for sale section broke down from import/domestic/audio/motorcycles/non car related for sale and wtb/pets/fashion/kills section of racing action sign up its very addictive and has something for everyone. They have few other tuners one in Lawrence that runs a shop specializes in GM with dyno and Justin(Justune) that also has done tons of tunes he also has dyno access and can tune anything, but specializes in GM believe he has 9-10 second new Camaro. There's everything from fast Honda's to 1000+ hp mustang/camaro/vette/vipers, even quite few exotics few Nobles, crazy 911s, few GTRs with 1500-2000hp, Ferraris/Lambos etc. Big mesh up of lots of cool people come join us,lots meets when gets warmer and if you familiar with overland park, KC Trends has fast Fridays every week with hundreds of amazing cars.

So is most of the issues with auto Cruzes mines a 6 speed manual, i refuse to plop down $300-400 in hopes my daily driver is driveable. Also with them being being backed up with issues i don't want to wait weeks or more for new files to retune it in hopes it works. Looks like ill be spending my money elsewhere, unless someone with trifecta sends me a PM promising good tune 1st go around or a instant refund. Seems like before when people datalogged and sent in to be checked they were told everything looks fine and very few customers need to alter the 1st rune sent to them.
