I know the owners manual says there is no need to check the AT fluid, but if one wanted to, how do you check it? It doesn't have a dip stick.

Wouldn't it be better to get it up to temp and pull the plug first? I wouldn't chance adding it and overfilling it, then running it to get it up to temp. If you get it up to temp and pull the side level plug it should just weep out of the hole and all is well.

That's a better way actually. Add some fluid after it's hot so any excess comes out.
