BNR went to the track today to test some prototype parts on the 3200LB Sonic (Yes you read that right, it weighs as much as a Cruze). Just broke the 1.4T 1/4 mile world record for both ET and MPH. #BNRMAFIA#BNRSKUNKWORKS

I believe the frame weighs more on older sonics. However, I may be correctedWhere's the extra weight, in the front bumper?
And a 2018 Premier 6AT hatch weighs in at 2915 (sedan is 2911). Figure the full 12.2 gallon tank (at 6.3 lbs/gallon) is another 77 lbs...A loaded 2012 turbo LTZ weighed 2808 on Car and Driver's scales, more than 400lb heavier than a Yaris.
A full tank of gas and a driver could get you to 3000, but not all the way to 3200.

That's got to be, what, like 325hp to run a 13.4? A 350HP C5 vette weighs around the same, and ran mid 13's, right? Minus some for the lack of drivetrain loss from a R&P...
What's done to this one?
Mike
I guess I was thinking a stock C5 ran like 13.5, but looks like they run like 13-flat, with 345hp crank / 300ish WHP, and 3200lbs curb weight. For the weight, to go a 13.4 it would take 257WHP, which is about where this car should be based on the airflow at the MAF.
