I’m thinking of doing this and porting the manifold. Should net me roughly 20-30 whp?
That is highly unlikely with a 1.4L engine. IMO There just isn't enough displacment to benefit THAT much from increased intake manifold volume. The volumetric efficiency of a given engine can only be increased so much.

Only reason I say that is because both of these mods claim a 10-15 whp gain.
You almost never get the estimated power gains that the manufacturer lists. There's too much variability from one vehicle to another. And if you do get the gains, most of the time they are in different areas of the power band, so it's not a linear gain.

Makes sense since the spacer only helps low-midrange and porting it really only helps the top end.

I saw the spacer on bnr 2 days ago I am interested in it also. JLL is right. I ported my intake awhile ago and put pcv 2.0 kit on it. Felt a difference in the pull in higher rpm’s lost the low end torque like most people claim after porting. But the hp gains are not as high like JLL stated. You notice the power difference in other areas like passing or when your ac/heat is on high and the car doesn’t lag from a full stop. Just my opinion haha. Im really interested in the trifecta tune tho seems like a better way to add performance to our cars without adding EXPENSIVE mods.

A tune is the best power per dollar modification that you can do on the 1.4L LUJ. EVERYTHING after that has diminishing returns in terms of power per dollar.

Take a look. I'm the 1st post. @cruze991
