Hey everyone, a quick question. I've done a lot of repairs and maintenance on my '11 LT with 145K miles, and one thing that is driving me crazy is the boost. It does get up and go, but if I'm trying to accelerate on an incline, I can feel the boost engage and then let off some, and it's a pattern: on, and off..... on, and off.... etc. That's probably the best way for me to describe it. If done for long enough, it'll throw a P0299 Underboost code, but I usually just erase it and it'll stay off. I've got my PCV 2.1 fix, and everything seems to be fine aside from that. I'm just stumped.

Do you have a boost guage? Boost regularly does up and down depending on the commanded boost. At least mine does.

P0299 shouldn't happen though.

Pretty normal behavior for a Cruze.

Things you can do to improve it:
-Run 91/93 octane. It's a turbo engine, it's constantly fighting knock on 87. That surging is how a Cruze reacts to knock.
