I finally got an updated video for everyone with a new boost gauge for better measurements. Please excuse the video as I stopped it at max boost. I recorded about 10 videos, but this is the only one where I was steady enough to get an accurate video. Roughly, the new LE2 motors in the new Cruze, can run anywhere between 22-24psi. Enjoy!

That's a lot of boost. The highest I've seen with my ultra gauge (digital gauge that plugs into the OBD II) on my completely stock gen 1 under the right conditions is a little over 18 PSI. Usually it maxes out a little over 16 in the summer and a little over 12 in the winter. The boost is torque limited, so if the air is nice and dense and the intake temperature is low, it won't run full boost because it can meet the torque numbers without as much boost. In the summer when the air is hot, the computer will allow more boost to make up for the less dense air. I've attached a picture of my ultra gauge below.

i am running those number with a custom air intake I fabricated on my own. The stock airbox restricts air flow so much that it was designed to get the right air fuel ratio. Where as with my intake I am introducing more air flow to the turbo.

You are not running 22-24 PSI on a stock tune, I promise you that. Your gauge is wrong. 100%.

Okay that's why I have videos posted on YouTube showing the boost pressure and infact not wrong. I tested it on 2 different Auto Meter Gauges and they both had shown 22-24. Please view the video for yourself before you say that I am wrong sir.
