Black/Black base LTZ.

After getting strung along by the dealer until the $1k loyalty rebate expired, I finally got my Cruze. I will say this...

Great car. Love it. While I haven't missed an opportunity to use it yet, I kind of miss a moonroof already. But whatever, I'll get used to not having one.

The stock stereo is ample, not regretting forgoing the Pioneer yet.

Car is very flashy. The chrome door handles and accents really stand out with the black paint job. I'm a pretty reserved guy and I'm glad I skipped the RS Package as that's even more chrome. But don't get me wrong... the car is beautiful.

OnStar app on my iPod (yes it works on the iPod if you have wifi) is awesome! I started my car from biology class today and it was nice and toasty by the time I got out there. (I live in Wisconsin).

I will say I'm not quite getting the mileage I expected. I don't drive like an 80-year-old, but I don't have a lead foot either. Consistently 5-10mph over, 75mph on highway. Readout has me at 27.6mpg through my first half tank.

Also, my knee keeps bumping the climate control and changing the temperature. Been tinkering with my seat position and I'll think I'll work it out.

The radio and climate control buttons seem kind of unresponsive. They have to be hit very deliberately to work.

All-in-all these are first impressions. I hope I can come back with nothing but amazing things to say come summer and warmer weather.

...I bitched about that same problem on the Nielson New Car Owner Questionaire that we received.

Grats on your new ride...

Regarding the MPG's you have to remember that they will improve overtime. While there isnt as much of a classic break-in period as their was in the old days it still takes time for everything to settle in.

Ive also found that using the cruise control helps mpgs
