Picked up 2006 Yamaha Fz6 with 16k on it a few weekends ago! It's mostly stock, besides levers, frame sliders and a tank pad. This is quite an upgrade from my other bike, a 1996 Yamaha Yzf600r.

Few pics below. Amazing what 10 years of innovation does. It puts about almost the exact same power as my first bike. However this one is so much smoother and refined. Also the riding position is worlds more comfortable! Waiting to get some new tires before I can really "ride" it.

Ha, my wife asks me everyday, what did you buy today? Reply nothing, already have enough problems, don't need anymore.

Nice!!! :) My friend has an FZ6. I was looking at buying it from him, but decided to do the responsible thing and put the money towards a down payment for my first place. I never did actually ride it, but I really liked how it felt to sit on. Sporty, but not ridiculously aggressive like his CBR600 is.

Thanks! Yeah the seating position is so awesome. Yes it's still can be ridden to 90% of say an R6 or a CBR600RR. Plenty for the average Joe. 0-60 3.5s and can get better mpg than my Cruze Eco :) Insurance is cheap too since it's in a different insurance category!

Thanks! Congrats to you as well :D. Haha yeah just a tad bit more. I'll prolly jump near 1L engine size of some sort, for my next bike. What year R1 did you get?
Ha, my wife would like me to buy a motorcycle, again, looks like fun to her to ride behind me. She asked me if I ever rode one after my accident, said no. Just way too many idiots on the road. When that kid pulled out in front of me when he was in a no passing road, only about 0.2 seconds to respond, but before this, many close calls.

Witnesses state they saw me fly 45 feet before hitting the ground, my motorcycle ended up under his vehicle. Read that same year Christopher Reeves was paralyzed from the neck down falling off a horse. Guess I was darn lucky, Same week as my so-called accident on broke his neck in town, was killed, another lost a leg.

What really topped everything off was at court, asked my attorney who are all these others guys here for. Said they were attorneys from my health insurance and accident dent insurance companies. They got every dime back they laid out for my medical expenses not leaving enough money for me to buy a cup of coffee. Forget about pain and suffering, only see this in the movies.

Today, more interested in buying a Freightliner than a motorcycle. Ha, see guys on the interstate wearing nothing more than a pair of shorts, not even a tee shirt or shoes. Must be totally insane. I wasn't wearing my chaps. Huge hunks of skin were torn off my legs, can't tell you about this pain.
