I’ve been using the clear bra with great success for years.

I kind of want to get the leather bra. I have always liked the look. the only concern I have is that I would have to remove it every year. I hear they trap snow in the winter and cause rust quicker. Could always get the clear vinyl beneath it. That would probably stop that.
I use vinyl Colgans on every car I own that one is offered for and I think I still have the one for my 12 eco buried in the garage....(that's why I asked the OP which generation).

I only use them on a clean car, and only when on a highway (as opposed to around town) run. Also, they must be removed asap if you get caught in a rainstorm since the dirty rainwater will get trapped beneath and not only abrade the paint but will also "blush" the finish. A bra on a dirty car will abrade the paint as well.

What I'm getting at here is letting you know use of these requires thought and effort on the owners part.
Some years back I performed off lease vehicle return inspections. Sometimes a car would have had a bra on for months or longer.
Upon removal, the paint it was supposed to be protecting was ruined......often there were areas that abrasion had taken the finish down to primer and raw metal at the hood edges.

However, if chips make you crazy (they do and I am) and a clear bra's edges are unacceptable to your eye, a vinyl bra is the only option.
Colgan or factory though......the backing must be a fleece type material.
Cheeze ball bras are raw vinyl backed and make lots of micro scratches.

Actually they trap dirt and end up scratching the paint. Use them for long trips, but then take them off for the best protection.

12 eco you say? lol Looking to sell it? I have a 13 LT, should work for me if you are looking to.

If you are serious I'll dig through the piles 'O' stuff in the garage.....I'm reasonably confident it is in there......somewhere, heh heh.

Depends on the price. Pm me if you want. If I do get it, I'll probably have to wait for next check. If OP wants it though he can get it, he did post asking for one. Lol
My sis has a car she got 2nd hand. Paint is spot on except the hood because LeBra. Clear Bra is the best if you can attack the car early in it's life. 2 hoods and both pretty much got rock blasted because of that radical sharp turn the Gen 1 hood does.
