I just changed the front pads and rotors on my 2016.5 with 94??? miles at the time over the weekend. They were original and replaced with parts from Oreillys. After changing them,it seems like the right front is making a noise when going at speed and increases with speed. I took them apart today and all still looks new. Brakes feel like new and stops as such it's just the vibration that is worrying me.

Common issue is the pad abutment clip(steel shim clipped to the caliper bracket) being installed bent or off center and rubbing the rotor

Well, its center on the bracket, and the pads move freely when I take the caliper off. Do I really need that shim?

Yes, it properly locates the pads, reduces noise(when installed properly) and keep the pad and bracket from wearing each other out.
