Engine power reduced
I am new to this forum, I have a 2012 Chevy Cruz and same thing happened to me Jan 25, 2016. I received the messages "service stability track" "engine power is reduced" and "service traction control" as soon as this happens my car almost literally stops, pushing on the gas does nothing. I pulled over and after a few minutes it started up and was fine. I have read other places that it's the throttle sensor??? A lot of discussion that it shouldn't be replaced just cleaned and then it has to be reprogrammed? I have a little over 100,000 miles no more warranty. GM dealer said it would be the $80 something for the diagnostic. All that I have read was stating mechanics misdiagnose or don't know what the problem is. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
