Is anyone ever bothered by the playback feature that makes the music fade in at the start of every song?

Doesn't bother me, couldn't care less about Mylink. Of course others think differently

I think there is an option to change that. I noticed my home XM which I'm getting ready to dump has those same options available, similar to the Windows media player where you can trigger the next event a few seconds early, AND level out the sound which usually hurts the start of the next song. With that said I didn't know MyLink plays songs, I guess it does.

What part of mylink are you using?

I was under the impression this something that can be changed in the system settings.

that's what I thought, but if it can be changed, it's been pretty elusive to me. I have a usb flash drive plugged in, playing music off of it.

Must be a 2014 feature. Are you also using speed volume controls as well?

nope, I turned that off.
