Ur gonna need a tune to go with ur b.o.v. for the car to run right.
You can add a short ram intake or cold air intake and you'll be able to hear the turbo.
In the event that you dont have (or want to spend) the cash for CAI/SRI a K&N drop in and a resonator bypass makes a little more spool/BPV sound for you.
Hey mate. What I did to get the sound was I made a custom CAI that went in to the cabin of my Cruze. I will also turn the AC on to get really cold air. I will take pics tongiht for you

While on the topic of tunes.... you're going to want the tune regardless to make the car run right. Stock tune always felt rough to me, tuned and she is smooth as butter. PLUS you get the sport mode as well so you can keep up with some imports. Win win I say.
Just get a k&n sri (short ram intake) and be happy. U'll hear the bpv (by pass valve) nicely. Don't turn ur car into a ricecar lol
True tuned these motors run sweet !

i'd stay away from the tune. it's 138 hp, around 3100 lb and just isn't going to be fast, tune or not. stock mine is smooth as baby oil and runs perfect on cheap 87 octane gas.

Come on really dude the tune is the best $400 I've spent it wakes the motor up and helps with automatics shifting problems. I love my tune.

Agreed - the tune compared to stock is night and day. Way smoother on take off than stock.

come on really, i see absolutely no reason whatsoever for a tune on mine. fine if you and others like yours.

I would love the extra power of a tune, however pushing the engine beyond the design limits GM intended WILL adversely effect how long the engine and transmission last. Your right though, the car will always be slow, even with 40+ Horsepower & 50+ more torque.

Could buy a leftover 2012-2013 impala with a 3.6L v6 that would definitely take my 1LT 0-60(even if I tuned my cruze) and probably get almost as good of MPG hwy. Ya the cruze is a rocket.... that gets smoked by a stock grandmas car. 2013 Chevrolet Impala V6 acceleration 0-60 0-80 - YouTube

more power would be nice but as you said it's still slow. you must be part mind reader as i've been thinking seriously about a program 12 or 13 impala. thanks for the video! looks like a good match for my now gone 07 impala ss. yep grandma's car and secretary mustangs and camaros have come a long way in a few years.
We've got a Sonic 1.4T running 13.7s all day consistently, the last time he was at the track a 5th gen Camaro SS was going high 13s and kept losing to the Sonic. Camaro SS owner wasn't very happy. And this Sonic is on the stock clutch E85 tune. Once we get a better clutch in it we will be cranking up the power a few more notches.

Just saying these 1.4Ts can be fast if done right.

Speaking of which, that Sonic is for sale if anyone is interested in owning the worlds fastest 1.4T car.

Here's a vid of him going 14.21 on hard compound street tires and before we turned up the power to run a 13.7

Has anyone done these mods? I'm looking into doing this tune and BOV/BPV. Just wanted to know what you all thought that have used this businesses services.

Thanks!
Dude. DO IT. The BOV/BPV isn't necessary. Put that money towards and intake or downpipe. GET THE **** TUNE.

BadNewRacing is totally legit and an avid vendor on this forum. Myself and a crapload of others can vouch for them as well as the products they offer/support.
