Are these in the stock housings or did you buy aftermarket housings to crack open? I ask because i'm curious how hard it was to take apart and the safest method.

These are aftermarket housings, I bought them mainly for 2 important reasons. One it was easier to crack open, I heard of a member trying to open his and ruined the black plastic surrounding the headlight (did not want to cut these open so they look cleaner)
They have adjustments for Up-Down, Left-Right adjustments as the OEM only have up and down.

Do you have any more or better output shots? Also is there any modification to the cutoff shield, in the daytime pic looks kind of like the cutoff is painted to give that color.

I could get better output shots in the night time, I have them off the car right now. I did paint the cutoff shield red for the demon eye effect. I spaced the lense to give a colorful cutoff.
