I bought my 2011 Cruze Eco a few days ago and my engine light came on a day after. I scanned it and it was P0299 turbo underboost. It hasn't been running too weird, although I had never driven a Cruze before this one so I have no baseline. I cleared the code and it came back a few hours later. It should be covered under my lubrico warranty, but I just want to know what the problem could be for my own curiosity.

Have you gotten the turbo at least looked at? My Cruze is a 2012 1.4L. I had the same issue as soon as I bought it it had issues with the turbo. Noticed it could barely keep up along the freeway so I had it looked at. Turned out the turbo just needed to be replaced. Got it fixed and now it runs good. Even if you don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, I would still get it checked out. Cause if you run it for long term with the turbo messed up it can actually send metal piece into your engine and stuff. My turbo was $600, and the final bill for labor included came out to $1000. However that’s cheap compared to getting a new engine lol
