Buy a new cap and then use a pick of some sort to poke two holes in the cap. Stick screwdrivers in there and twist.

Well, for starters, have a new cap on hand.

Since you have the threaded part off the only thing in the jug is the relief valve with the 'O' ring.

If the engine is cold, put a rag over the valve and start the car.....as it warms and the pressure rises it'll get pushed up and off.

Everyone is making this more complicated than it is. Get a new cap and use a screw driver to pry that off when it is cool. Mine did the same thing.

Thanks for all the great ideas. Thought the super glue might work but only got a little turn before it snapped. The trusty flat head screwdriver did the trick with minimal marks on tank neck
