You should torque it to 110 Ib Ft or 150NM and tighten it an additional 60° ... Also in my experience, if the seal isn't the original GM it'll never seal right

Also in my experience, if the seal isn't the original GM it'll never seal rightI changed my Crank shaft seal in my 2011 chevy Cruz a month back because of a leak and all was well up until a couple days ago when I had to change the water pump and then the leak came back again. Today I changed it for the 3rd time in a month and I can’t get it to stop leaking. I torqued the bolt to 110. Is there a step I’m missing? View attachment 302517
