I had a strange one recently. I was the first car in a arrow controlled left turn lane and there was another car behind me. Green arrow came on and I went. So did the guy behind me. As far as I can tell we both made legal left turns. I put my turn signal on and pulled to the right lane after the turn. The guy behind me sped up to pass me and the next thing I see is a county sheriff running his lights behind us. I figured the sherriff was going to pull me over for not waiting long enough after signalling to change lanes. Instead he stayed behind the other car and as they passed me both pulled across in front of me and he pulled the other car over. In no case did either of us even approach the posted speed limit so I have absolutely no idea what happened.

I have noticed in the Manual Trans.. that CC when on a stretch is fine... on inclines is fine.. downhill or slight downhill you can feel it push pull back and forth .. it's like an ex I had that couldn't drive right.. she would put her foot on the gas then off.. instead of just keeping it steady.. drives me nuts. Luckily my Vibe didn't have it so I am pretty good at maintaining speed even without CC on.. :)
The pushing and pulling you're feeling is the car entering and leaving DFCO where it's turning the fuel injectors on and off to save fuel.

It definitely feels odd. Lol. Even my wife could tell.
That it does. You can also see the car doing this by switching the display to metric and watching the instantenous fuel economy. It reads 0 L/100KM while in DFCO.
