I wasn't in my Cruze but I had my son in the car with me when I was behind a 1 ton truck carrying glass on special racks down each side when one side fell off. It was like a cloud of glistening material completly filled the air in front of us and then settled on all 6 lanes of the road. It was really an amazing sight. I sure am glad it wasn't me that had to clean up about an acre of glass. Nothing except the glass was damaged.

Well guess what.. same hill as I originally posted.. but this time it was a lexus SUV.. except I was ahead of them and at the top of the hill they decided to cut into oncoming traffic again.. (This time I was not trying to keep distance.. I let them go). No cops this time but the lady did fly over the hill and almost slam into the back of a tractor trailer. I guess she didn't remember that when you drive 90 on a hill to try and look cool that there are 50,000lb trucks that also drive up the hill at 15mph.. Was some funny crap.. made my day.

I don't know what it is about that hill but makes people DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I have never met a Lexus driver with any shred of intelligence in their entire being.

Beeped at a van yesterday who didn't notice the light turn green and sat there for a good bit. I guess she didn't like it because she flipped me the bird in her rearview mirror! People make me laugh

I've also been the target lately of people who love to ride people's asses.

I had a girl in a Hyundai ride my ass so bad the other day that, I could only see her windshield. I was in the right lane and traffic was already going about 5-6 mph over the speed limit already. Plus there was another car in front of me and I didn't want to ride their ass just because the person behind me wanted to be a bitch! I try to treat others on the road how I would like to be treated.

Also, I had a motorcycle driver swoop up behind me that following day at a stoplight out of nowhere and decides to be a dumbass. For some reason, I guess he got mad that the traffic wasn't moving as fast as he would've liked and decides to take it out on me since I was the person in front of him. At the next light, he decides to flip on his high-beams and start revving his engine. As the light turns green, he shoots the small gap between my car and the person a little behind me in the right lane and proceeds to stare me down as he speeds by.

I'm sorry but motorcycle drivers (yes, I know not all of them) have to be the most arrogant assholes on the road. I see them all the time, trying to intimidate drivers by speeding up on them and then darting into the next lane as well as speeding in and out of traffic, trying to look cool. They have this invincible attitude and it drives me crazy because if it really came down to it, if car drivers wanted to be assholes in return, our cars could do them a lot more damage than them and their bikes could do to us.

The only reason why I let the ******* motorcycle drivers I actually encounter on the road get away with half the **** they do is because I don't want to be responsible for killing someone on the road even if they are being a complete douchebag and likely deserve it. Also I couldn't likely catch them, lol!

When I had my gsxr I would rip down the roads but one thing I didn't do is put others in danger. Didn't cut in and out on them unless there's was plenty of room. But I have seen guys wheelie from the stop light and almost wreck. When I wheelied it was open and no cars near me. I was I guess half ******* lol. Now I'm wiser for the most part and eco drive lol

so far in my cruze i just had some ricey acura try to race me. totally would have taken me but i just put my sri on the other day so when i let off the gas and he heard the bov he just sunk back lol. one time in my subaru though i just passed a line of slow moving traffic and went to get into the right lane to get off on my exit i had a bike behind me and with bike i give a little longer warning im making a lane change i throw my blinker on wait about 25-30 seconds then start changing lanes well apparently he decided to pass me on the right when i was already halfway between lanes almost merged right into the guy all because he didnt want to wait till i finished changing lanes. luckily instead of giving more gas like ive seen a lot of people do he hit his brakes and was able to get back to my left side before hitting me

I am guessing the BOV is significantly louder because I know stock you can't hear it at all in the car.. and outside you really really really have to listen.. basically be able to hear a ladybug fart .. to hear it.

Reason #2578 of why I don't need a intake or Forge BOV. People would assume I was doing BOV salutes all day when I am shifting gears and try to race me. All I want to do is get to point B in the most gas efficient manner.

The BPV is louder if you resonator bypass and remove the foam prefilter. Inside it's not as noticeable bout outside all you hear is spooling turbo and the sound of air moving.

I think that you could look at people wrong and they will want to race or do stupid crap when you are out and about. I remember once a neighbor was drunk and got upset that his friends .. girlfriends.. daughter wouldn't put shoes on so he got in his car.. drove backwards up 2 one way streets and almost backed into a police car. He hid hid his vodka in a water bottle but there was no escaping his lunacy .. what a moron.. haha

Maybe he thinks they won't search the car within arms reach? It's only becomes gray area when it's a tailgate full of beer cans untill you fail a blood, breath, or urine test. Screw a water bottle when you can just *walk* around with a grande Starbucks coffee cup with lid on it.

*walk as in putting 1 foot in front of the other successfully. Not responsible for public intoxication charges and those txt messages you sent to your ex all night and your s/o finds them.

It completely slipped my mind what I saw yesterday. I was riding along the expressway for 271 between brainard and chagrin when I saw an explorer spinning out into the grass. No cars actual hit her, she must have floored it in the rain with a donut on the back axle. My cruise control was set to about 67 and she was doing more than that before the spin out.

I do about 30 miles one way to work, and what always surprises me is how many people can't maintain a constant speed. Do they even make a new car without CC anymore? :p (Sorry LS owners)

This irritates me to no end!! Lol. I can't stand people who speed up and slow down constantly. Mostly because I know it's hurting mpg's :( haha

I wish we had adaptive CC for that reason. I never use it because I can't stay in CC for more than 2 mins. Even setting it at 56 mph in a 60 mph zone I need to pass someone during non traffic daylight hours.

I have noticed in the Manual Trans.. that CC when on a stretch is fine... on inclines is fine.. downhill or slight downhill you can feel it push pull back and forth .. it's like an ex I had that couldn't drive right.. she would put her foot on the gas then off.. instead of just keeping it steady.. drives me nuts. Luckily my Vibe didn't have it so I am pretty good at maintaining speed even without CC on.. :)

The pushing and pulling you're feeling is the car entering and leaving DFCO where it's turning the fuel injectors on and off to save fuel.

Those are the times when I loved my old truck. That drop down hitch hurts. (Never had someone hit it though.)

But I had more stupid stuff I did/seen in my dodge vs my cruze
Everything from black smoking a prius with my buddy, to having a dodge dully. pass me on the shoulder which I ended up making him stay behind me had to show kid a lesson. He even tied to turn past me on the inside which was illegal.
