Really im so depressed, I loss trust with GMC and i cant trust them any more, why??? i will tell you why.
I have problem with my car ( cruze 2011, 37000km) the problem with that auto transmission, i call dealer here and he told me it out of warranty, i talk with him and i told him but the car still 37000km and i did all regular maintenance at dealer shop and as you know there something wrong with cruze transmission at all. and as usual they ignore my complain and told me u need around 1000$ to know what the exact problem ( looool 1000$ to exam and detect the problem) and then fix the car may need up to 5000$. really im surprised and i told them this a joke . i called the GMarabia and talk with him about this issue but they didnt make any action. and now my car park in parking like a toy, at the end now im sure the GMC dont care about the customers and the ignore any complain . i have case number and i was do the last maintenance at 5sep. that mean before 3 weeks of problem and the dealer told me everything is ok and i have report and when the problem appear the dealer say sorry we cant do any thing.

However im sure GMC also will Ignore this topic but as i said before i loss my trust and all my relative and all my friends now know everything about my story and also they lost their trust. and thank you GMC u scam me you let me buy the car then don't help me.

It's not their fault honestly. Cars aren't bullet proof. If you bought an extended warranty or bumper to bumper coverage, you would have been all set. Next time, invest more in the coverage available when you go to the dealer. It will save you in the long run. And I highly doubt your dealer wants $1K to inspect the car. That seems quite far fetched. Definitely questioning that.
the transmission is part of the powertrain warranty

I dont say its their fault. My point is they dont care about customers, I call GMarabia and they open they case and they dont take any action ????? and i think there are some wrong in Gearbox of all cruze my car is run only 37000km (which nothing) and i do the regular maintenance at time and the last one just before 3 weeks and no one tell me there is any wrong and suddenly my car stop move,

look i know the car is not bullet proof but i want feel the GMC care about their customers. and i mean now my feedback is so bad and as i said before not only i have bad feedback but any one i know now have same bad feedback depend on experience.

Again and again Im sure the GMC dont care about me and even they will Igonr this complain, and again this my point.
Find a different dealer. Obviously this one knows nothing. It has nothing to do with Cruze and GMC. If there is truly a problem and it is covered under warranty, a decent dealer will take care of it.
Translation is 23,000 miles roughly. Try another dealership if you can. That dealership is only interested in car sales and not keeping you coming back for more vehicles or referrals.
37000 KM is a little less than 23000 miles. However, it's been more than 36 months so the B2B warranty is over due to time. That said, Patman is most likely correct and this is covered under the power train warranty.
It sounds like this car is not in the states either.. Does GM's warranty of 100k/36k go from different countries as well? I know we have the same warranty as Canada but I'm not sure if that's a dumb question or not lol either way @23k miles I would assume it would still be covered under powertrain warranty.

Most of the countries I've checked share a common warranty, but this is a valid question.
Mileage is in metric, and money is in US dollars, so assume this vehicle is not in the USA. If you called GMarabia, assume your country is Saudi Arabia.

But share your problems with poor dealerships, same problem here. In contacting GM reps, told me to find a new dealer, they have the say what's wrong and what should be replaced. And they are suppose to be the experts.

How about two different dealers for faulty rear disc calipers and three different dealers for a very obvious battery problem. How about dealerships that solve one problem but create ten more?

How about a section on this board to report poor dealerships.
Yes is not in usa
Im in saudi arabia
And if the GMC care about their customers they should know how select dealers, and when the open case they should work on at the end not ignore it

The franchise and warranty payment systems used for almost all car manufacturers is horrible. I think Tesla is the only one who doesn't use it.
I'm not sure how much help most of us will be here, as who knows if the warranty is even close to the same in your country.

Hear we get a 36,000 miles(58,000 kilometers) 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, also a 100,000 mile(160,000 kilometers) 5 year warranty on the powertrain. Any transmission issue would be covered by the powertrain warranty.

So I looked at Chevy for your country, looks like the warranty is no where near as good as in the USA. Seems all 2011+ cars get a 100,000 kilometer(62,000 mile) 3 year warranty only.

So, depending on when the car was purchased, it may or may not be under warranty still, as the 36 month part of the contract would be up , not the 100,000KM part.
In the 60's, a completely remanufactured TH-400 automatic transmission was only 150 bucks and was about a two hour job to change it.

As long as you keep fluid in these and take it easy on these new ones, should last a long time. But most of the problems are electrical. But really no profit in repairing a bad electrical connector, so most shops tell you, you need a new or manufactured one.

Can even be problems with this stupid firmware stored in electrically erasable memory. And they have the nerve to call this progress. More like major screwing to the consumers.
Three years/100000 km (which one comes first) warranty here in Finland too. Also 6 years warranty for rust making holes for the body.
Here the warranty even works, but perhaps this was too expensive for GM because they stopped selling cars in Europe.
