So after getting a new set of front tires and a second alignment, my 2014 Cruze diesel is still pulling to the left. An alignment usually reduced this leftward pull but never stops it completely. I've done a search and most posts mention tires or possibly the roads themselves but this seems present on all kinds of roads. Car just turned over 95k miles. Could it be something with the electric steering or tie rod ends? The steering wheel itself also naturally rest slightly left of center.

With US roads the crown should cause your car to drift slightly right NOT left. All 2 way roads in the US should be slightly higher in the center to allow for rain run off to the side of the road and reduce pooling. Get out on a road with no oncoming traffic and ride right down the center so you are straddling the crown. A car with correct alignment and good tires should run right down the center.

Now you mentioned that you got only new front tires. Its possible that 1 of your backs are bad and is pushing or pulling the car to 1 side. Swap the rears side to side and see if things change, swap the spare to each location to isolate a bad tire as well.

The shop that did the alignment should have done a suspension inspection to determine if you had bad / warn components. If they did not do this and went ahead and aligned the car then your car is not aligned and you got ripped off. If the steering wheel is turned slightly left all the time then they did not finish the job and correct the center position of the steering wheel. If the same shop did both alignments and left you like this then its time to find a shop that actually cares about the customer. If you are fu.ck.ed up AFTER they worked on your car then they do not deserve any more of your business. Find a better shop.

It's possible that the rear tires are worn in a way that could cause this. Try doing a rotate (flip sides though).

Also, have you taken it back to the vendor that did the alignment and tell them it's still pulling?
