I have 2010 cruze petrol engine, I hear strange rubbing sound coming from the front when the moment the shift changes and the clutch starts to catch and pushing the gas pedal, this sound can be heard only the range of 1500-2000 rpm and only pushing the gas pedal... I took a video, you can hear this sound as a deep rubbing sound next to the motor voice. like the sound of metal rubbing...

I cannot hear it either, but I was thinking about the "tubes" that are on the fire wall that rattle all the time. There is a post here somewhere on how to get rid of that noise.

can someone show me where is the post? I couldnt find...

today a technician hear that noise and told me that is a knock-sensor related noise and it is completely normal... I think this should not be normal... there have a strange diesel engine-like noise when accelerating 1500 to 2000 rpm on a petrol engine car and it is completely normal, strange....
