I'm sure it wasn't an issue before they hacked the engine shield. There needs to be an engine bay protection mod. My engine bay is covered in crap from this winter.
It wasn't I wish I would have told them to leave it alone just didn't wanna be bothered with it later down the road. And of course you can't buy it like it was either.I'm sure it wasn't an issue before they hacked the engine shield.
Ya after they cut mine I wish I would had never taken it in. I do my own oil changes so the oil getting on it wasn't an issue but I thought they would have a better game plan than just cutting nearly all of it out.It wasn't I wish I would have told them to leave it alone just didn't wanna be bothered with it later down the road. And of course you can't buy it like it was either.
Did you have the same issues I had?I have the same intake on mine but had to change the filter. the red looked dumb with the blue paint lol. I'm gonna take some thin gauge stainless steel and fab up a heat sheild or maybe aluminum and weld it to the intake. I weld for a living. I'll figure out something for it.
Ya, it isn't a problem at all for anyone with a little idea of mechanics but someone with their first time ever touching a screw driver might find this useful. I just wondered if I was the only one with this issue.Yeah exact same problems. I used drill bit to open holes up just a little bit. Also had to work the sensor in. But at least we aren't throwing any codes.
I dont' even have an engine shield. I thought that was for the Eco only?I'm sure it wasn't an issue before they hacked the engine shield.
Depending on when yours was built/bought it probably was done at Lordstown/ Selling Dealer.I dont' even have an engine shield. I thought that was for the Eco only?
Nope. Unnecessary.is there a spot for the stock air box breather hose in the cxracing intake pipe ?
