Yes, works just like a gas pump. Even looks like a gas pump. The DEF nozzle is tapered for the tank opening. You won't find the pumps on the auto side. You will have to go on the side the semis fill up.
It should Diesel. I use about 3 gallons a day. The avg. underground storage at a truck stop is around 7000 gallons. A lot of big rigs are on DEF now. So those tanks turnover pretty quick
this is the fuel I use a day. 3 gallons of DEF a day. So say 600 to 700 trucks a day stop and get DEF. That's around 2000 gallons a day. So turning over a 7000 gallon tank is easy
Plus at 2.50 a gallon at truck stop versus the prefilled 2 gallon bottle at 9 dollars. Do the math. If you don't use the whole bottle it sits. The pump at the truck stop cuts off when full. 2.00 to fill yesterday. Done till next oil change.
Got 19000 only 1 more free change then its on me anyway.plus the dealer is 20 miles round trip. 2 dollars at the pump is better than a gallon of diesel then waiting for a tech to put it in. No self serve at stealership
