If the power cycle reboot doesn't fix it, I'd have to think someone swapped a module but used the wrong type.

My cluster got buggered when I had a low voltage engine crank (attempt). Has been weird ever since, but still functional...

It's a computer. Computers hate bad power. I'd start by forcing a reboot by disconnecting the battery for awhile.
