The one i had had 2 bent valves which hit the pistons.So i got to do a lot of playing around with it.A number of compression tests and leak down tests.Todays cars tend to have the same compression on all cyls for the most part
I did a cold test on my 2014 cruze lt (1.4 L) with 100k miles because I wanted to change the spark plugs and I got the following results:
Dry: 220, 180, 210 ,205
Wet: 260, 220, 250, 235
It was my first test so I am not sure how reliable these results are.
It does not have any problems, fuel consumption is a bit lower than designed around 25 mpg in city but it's a manual and I like to rev it up a little. Should I be worried?? Should I do anything about this??
