They don't tune it out. They give you the option to turn off the monitoring system. The fault will still be there but it won't show up as a cel light. On mine if I hook up a scanner it will show a permanent o2 sensors code but the crl doesn't light up. Hope this helps

Hm doesnt show up when I run a scanner on mine… if it did I’d fail my yearly emissions inspections here in TX.

Hello, so I was wondering about this since the epas clean air act, will bnr tune out my cel for my catless down pipe? I know Zzp will, or at least they say they will. I am just wondering because I would prefer bnr, since they are cheaper. If anyone has insight on this I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks

Now that a video of zzp tune on a stock vehicle has been posted by zzp showing the gains of their tunes, we can safely say the difference between the 2 tunes is 39HP and 62TQ

ZZP Tune: +17HP +39TQ
BNR Tune: +56HP +101TQ
