I am planning to change rear pads for Chevy Cruze 2012, LT 1.6......... but there seems to be 2 options for the rear pads, How can I tell which option I need for my car?

Brake Size [in] 16 or Brake Size [in] 15

Not sure what brakes you have, but would ask a dealer as that engine isn't available in either the US or Australia. We do have a 1.6 in Australia, but it has a turbo and uses the same brakes as the 2.0L diesel.

for future reference, they were 15 Inch

That would be the wheels I presume as the rear brakes on the diesel are around 11 inches and the fronts 12 inches.
