Drivers seat goes up and down but does not go front or back
Hey guys recently purchased a 14 LT2 with 122k miles, purhased the vehicle with knowledge of the issue, drivers seat will go up and down but it will not go forward or back, could it be its just dirty , planing on getting a full detail, after here going to check on recalls.. Thank you.
Update June 18th, I was lucky that it was just a switch installed a new switch and it went back and forth easy peasy

Could be a bad motor, switch or junk gumming up the system. Pull the seat.

np.. I would see if I could bypass the switches first to make sure not switch... just make some leads so you can put twelve volts to motor.. If that works then oviously switch if still not... I would then take motor off and straight to it... that will tell you if it is binding.... after that it should be obvious what you need.
