Neat feature: The fogs can be run independently of the headlights. The running lights are on, and the fogs themselves can light up the road. So if you're ever in pea soup at 15 mph, the headlights can come off with the fogs on. YMMV if it's legal to do so in your area.

QUOTE=Dpedraza;59865]Oh cool. Def going to look into this. I hate having the black panels on my silver car I dont like the look with fogs at least it will look better[/QUOTE]

I didn't like the black either. I took the bezels from new kit to the body shop and had them color matched to car.
Also didn't like the hole in bumper, so installed three piece grill at same time. I'm really happy with the results.

I ordered mine from Allen (GM Parts Man) at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in Portland. $176 800-460-5328 x4162
Sorry it took so long but I have been away for the last week.
Also, like sciphi said, the fogs can be turned on with the parking lights or driving lights but if you turn on your high beams the fogs automatically turn off. Switch off the high beams and the fogs are back on. I think that is really cool.

People driving with their fog lights on drive me nuts... because they use them as extra headlights, which they don't work for.

If you have your high beams on you are trying to light up down the road for some reason... if you are using your fogs you are trying to get light low and close (under the fog).

The two types of lights DO NOT work together to provide you any benefit, which is why GM shuts the fogs off when the high beams are on. I'd like to shoot out the fog lights on all the dumb SUV's I see around here running around with their fogs on all the time.

Please don't rig your car to have both high beams and fogs on.
I disagree totally. Your high beams are there to let you see in the distance. The second your light beams move up you lose all of that flood in front of you as well as to the side. A truck is a totally different story as my Silverado still maintains the front light while seeing far. But in my cars I lose light in the front when I go to high with OEM lights. All the fog lights do is give me the light back. And regardless of the drivers preference - your lights should never bother oncoming traffic. If this is happening their not adjusted correctly. If your purchasing the lights for fog they should be yellow anyway. When is the last time you saw that OEM? As far as that goes when was the last time you saw fog when someone's fog lights were on?

You're not kidding "useless directions"...they might as well be written in crayon by a retarded chinese moose.
I did the installation today, WITHOUT removing the nose. In hindsight, it would have been easier to just take it off. Everything was going fine, until trying to tighten that outboard screw that holds the light to the car. If i had one of those little stubby screwdrivers (about an inch long) it would have been a snap. everything else went fine, thanks to your post. If not for your photos showing which connection to hook up to, I would be lost. Those instructions are rediculous. Thanks to you, we have success!!

One of the things I like about the Cruze's fog lights is that I can run them without the headlights on at all. When it's really foggy or snowing heavily having just the lower lights on reduces the light reflected to me so much that I can actually see further. In taller vehicles (SUVs, vans, trucks) it doesn't make much of a difference. As for color - I hate yellow lights as they blind me faster than white lights do.

Hi,

I installed the fog lights on my 2012 Cruze LS as it shown here but it doesn't works :( The fog light switch just turns on/off the side (bumper) orange bulbs but not the fog lights :(
Is there an installation difference between ECO and LS models?
Especially here

Please help :(

Thank you so much for your hard work , I had tried 4 holden dealers before seeing your posting ,one told me if your car does not have fog lights you will not be able to fit them, another one told me you can fit them but the kit will cost you $750 ,a nother one told me we do not fit them to cars that did not come out with them so you will have to get an auto elec to wire it up, and the last one told me they do a kit for the fog lights but could not give me a price and told me the CPU will need to be reprogramed which they do not do (strang as they are a Cruze dealer)?I ended up getting the lights off the net so upgraded them to HID's $150 ,I found an out let that does cheap holden parts so asked them about the wiring they found it in 5 mins flat so I got the wiring from them and using your pictures to guide me fitted them on the car ,it looks good ,I will take a picture of the car and find out how to post them on this site
