I tried using the search. couldnt find anything really answering this question.

Has anyone tried to install ECO dampers in a 2lt or 1lt?

Is it even possible?

Can you be more specific on dampers, Dubs? Dampers for what?

If it is the dampers in the grille, then I think you'll run into a couple of issues. One is that a different bumper might be needed so you can mount them. And then the electronics for them would have to be installed, or programmed, or both.

What for? You want to heat soak your intercooler? I wouldn't do it, especially not now tha tthe summer hotter months are coming up. You won't gain much fuel economy by doing that either. If you really want to try it out you can just tape up the front bumper temporarily with painters tape, but like I said I doubt you'll gain much.

Check out the end of this video clip. Not the same thing exactly but taping off the car to make it more aerodynamic didn't help his acceleration.

I always thought dampers meant shocks/struts.

The LTZ and Eco cars are supposed to sit about ~1/2 inch lower than the LT and LS cars, so it's a quick, easy lowering method. I don't see why it couldn't be done, although I have yet to try it.
