Add mine to list. I also have an 2011 eco mt. Its even black also. Does the same thing. Surges under accel, Dies, bogs in first, second and third. Dealer says there is nothing wrong with it. I'm averaging 34 mpg. The surging drive me crazy.

I've tried 87, 89, and 91. Also tried with or without ethanol. Mine still surges and falls on its face every once in a while.

My ECO 6 speed is much, much, much better with the A/C off. Have you guys tried this. I've been sweating the heat this week and driving with the windows down. I think the 1.4 engine has enough horsepower at lower rpms to move itself and run the air.

I think GM needs to release an update to give the engine more fuel and more timing with the air on.

The computer controls the a/c. So the parameters would only need to be changed when the a/c is engaged.
