These two motors by gm are the same ؟ or there are some differanceis. And what technical issues should be to take care to be replaced. Both have different controls.

The Cruze/Sonic/Aveo platforms use "Generation III" of the Family 1 motors. The 1.6L is more or less identical to the 1.8L.
It looks like the Vectra used an older version of the motor without VVT or an electronic throttle.
