I have a 2017 Chevy Cruze diesel.

I have EGR issues.

How do I find out how big my engine is - 1.6 liter or ????

Was trying to find an engine pic or design to help me locate my EGR valve. Where is my EGR valve located? Local Chevy dealer wants to charge me $750 to replace EGR valve and cooler housing. I'm not convinced I need to replace cooler housing. Thinking first to clean or replace the EGR valve and see what results that will bring.

Please advise. Thanks.

2017 Cruze diesel engine is 1.6L.

Are you no longer under power train warranty? Or emissions warranty?

There have been a few coolers changed by others here recently.

Rock auto lists the EGR valve for $61 and the EGR cooler for $193 US.

EGR is on the driver's side of the engine.
