Nicely done. As your car breaks in you'll discover that its fuel economy will improve. Mine took close to 7,000 miles to break in.
I fuel up on a daily basis and I notice when my DIC shows 57 mpg after 370 miles its actually about 51.5 mpg at the pump. So the DIC is consistantly optimistic by about 5-6 mpg from my own experience.
HellonEarth made a good point. I believe the break in period is about 500 miles or so and during this time the cruze manual advises against fast acceleration, consistant speeds and downshifting. Following the break in period engine speed and load can gradually be increased.

Thanks everyone. The only real thing I did was keep the cruze control (hah) on and leave the air condition off. Otherwise it was normal driving.

I correct mine at -7%, others seem to vary between about 5-10%. Even so, my correction factor isn't exactly the same each time, so the only way to be sure is to average it out over full tanks. With the Eco and it's early fuel tank cap-off (which gives it an artificially limited 12.9 gallon capacity), filling can be a little inconsistent as well depending on the flow rate of the specific pump you're at and how level the car is sitting. That's why I suggest working out your correction factor over a few tanks.
There are lots of fuel tracking methods you can pick from as well; Fuelly (most popular), Ecomodder (see my sig), and many more I'm not aware of as well as countless smartphone apps. I use a smartphone app to record my data at the pump and then update my on line trackers at home on the PC. This saves me from having to keep track of paper reciepts.

My 2013 doesn't have numbers in the temp and gas gauges. Is this something you get in an ECO that you don't get in a 1LT? I kind of like it...

OnStar app gives you fuel level in percent and gallons but haven't tried to see how accurate it was. It also shows lifetime mpg and trip counter 1

Oh that gauge his is also looks like a Canada spec Cruze that might be why.OP says they have a 2013 though.

It's a 2013 Canadian Cruze. Good eye ****. I'm already on Fuelly and I was expecting to be 5-6 MPG worse than the DIC. I also track with a Scangauge which I can adjust to tell me true gas mileage. I'll be filling up for the first time today. I've personally put 385 miles on the car myself and it wasn't quite full when I got it. The gas light is still not on. After that I'll start using fuelly to track my mpg.
Oh thanks for all the tips guys. Does anyone happen to know how many liters the eco has left (roughly) when the gas light comes on?
My ECO MT's gas light comes on at 60 miles (97 KM) to empty. It is very consistent. For me this is about 1.5 gallons (5.7 litres).
