New at this. I have a 2015 Cruze diesel and I'm looking for a way to secure the block heater plug so it is conveniently available for use during the cold northern Ontario winter. I don't want to just hang it out the front under the hood. I have considered installing a flush-mount through-port inlet with water tight rubber cap - does anyone have experience doing this?

Welcome to the forum. I live in a much warmer climate so I have no need of this, however if you go to the "diesel" thread you should find answers to your question.

Welcome to the forums, diesel section as well as the colder climate folk with heaters may be able to help you with that. I always wanted a heater but never could justify it with nowhere to plug it into.
